Beneficiaries
You can name or re-name your beneficiary easily. You'll find the latest beneficiary designation listed in your annual Benefit Profile (now available on MyNYSTRS). Make sure your designation is up to date so your wishes will be carried out. To designate or change your beneficiary, print a Designation of Beneficiary for (NET 11.4-click button below) or call their hotline at (800) 782-0289 to request one. The cannot make death benefit payments directly to your minor children. You may want to consult with an attorney ro find out how best to carry out your wishes and provide for children.
